Doggie Pattern

Hi there! I am a bit late today with my Dog Day Tuesdays but I am excited to share this little digital piece inspired by Dukie. I did a few sketches today and decided to take it further digitally, playing with colors and the idea of creating a sweet pattern.
Here I decided to add a decorative border, something playful and meaningful. Every night Duke looks forward to his chase with the rabbits in the back yard. He rarely catches up to them but even when he does he freezes up not knowing what to do. Its all about the chase...

and here is my pattern. I decided to create Dukie in a simple portrait setting - perhaps my next design will be him on a chase - oh that could be a fun one! Hope you like this little piece and  hope to see you here next Tuesday for another Dog Day Tuesdays!

  7. Love it. Thank you for your sweet words on my blog. I really appreciate it. It is amazing how healing getting lost in creativity can be. Being in that moment melts away the hard stuff and does give you space to breathe. All things work out as they should and in ways you never expect. Keep hope in your heart and it will sustain you through the challenging times.
